When flipping through my satellite tv today, I saw a channel with this name. Apparantly it has anime in the afternoon/night. During that time it claims to be the Funimation Channel or something. I kind of wanted the Funi channel just to watch when I was bored (but didn't want to pay for it) so this is pretty cool I guess. So far I like watching Kiddy Grade (for its, IMO, cool artwork and characters) and I haven't seen the others but if anyone else has this channel please share info/opinions about the shows or the channel itself.
PS - (other shows that look interesting to me are Galaxy Railways and Spiral, and I already know Conan from AS) |

Here's the website link to learn a bit more about what shows are airing. They had it airing live at ANime Expo this year in one of the showing rooms. I'm still waiting to get it on my Satellite in my area (Direct TV). This channel is owned by Funimation and they are airing some of their shows. I have seen all of Galaxy Railways and I loved it. The Galaxy Railways are trains that transport people to and from the different planets. The SDF is like the Galaxy patrol that defends the trains and responds to emergencies. The story basically follows the adventures of the SDF. I haven't seen Spiral yet but it's on my list. Kiddy Grade is great too but one you should check out they will be showing on the channel is Negima. It's kinda like a Harry Potter meets Tenchi Muyo. I have seen the fansubs and already have my preorder in for the limited boxset for V1. Hope that helps some! |
