I just got volume 8 in the mail. It was pretty good in my opinion. Some things I expected, some I did not.
I did not expect Satella to be found and revived in 1999. My guess is that demon girl had something to do with her restoration, and she also took satella's sister with her when she restored them both. I wonder if Satella's sister was just a normal person now. I think she had been infused with legion, due to a few things said and had done throughout the series. I wonder if the demons had kept any special powers, as far as I could tell, only that little cat eared demon girl, and Chrono, were still around. Neither looked like they had aged, but Chrono looked pretty beat up. The end hit me really hard, the epilogue's and such, especially the last few pages, damn that was some sad stuff. Sad but happy at the same time, I guess.
It really surprised me to turn the page and see satella sitting there watching an old Az talking to her, i was like whoa.
I think i will have to check out this other guys work. I was also surprised how much it varied from the anime, which I had seen way before finishing the manga. No stigmata in the manga, and such. Sorry for the huge spoiler, better safe then sorry. I thought of not using one at all, but did not want to get yelled at. Please let me know what you thought of this manga, too, of course.

I thought Chrono Crusade was pretty good, especially considering it was his first work (commercial, at least). He has another series running in Japan right now, but I don't remember what it was called.
After reading the manga, I want to see the anime to see how it differs.
I'm not taggin anything as I don't think its neccessary for a thread discussing the ending.

That was the implication. She was a scientist and had far more technology and knowledge of it that the humans did even in 1999, so such a thing probably wasn't very difficult for her.
