I've seen a couple of websites that offer free downloads of custom made anime characters for The Sims games. I remember attempting to download some characters a while ago but give up after realizing I didn't know how to get those designs in the game. I forgot about the whole ordeal until today, when I discovered a whole mess of videos of Sims Final Fantasy characters making out passionately on a certain streaming website.
Who else has anime skins for this game? What are your character's lives like? I don't know how those things work, but the most interesting thing my normal, non-anime characters have done is light fireworks on a kitchen table indoors and set the house on fire when I left them alone for a couple of seconds. The whole family ran in the fire for no reason at all and died. The flames eventually engulfed the house and killed the baby. Hahahah, that is amazing! I haven't played it in quite a while (and it's currently not installed on my computer... boo), but I downloaded every cool anime and game skin I could find. I definitely made a "Bebop" family- Spike, Faye, Jet, and little girl Ed. I even found a custom-made item that was Ein the dog before the Sims even included pets. Most notably in that family, Jet had too much fun with a chemistry set- he made a love potion and fell in love with some random woman.. he also seemed to be the main cook in the family (bell peppers and beef anyone?). I put the virtual reality goggles in Ed's room and she uses them quite a lot.. and Spike and Faye definitely started falling for eachother completely on their own!
Other anime characters... I shamelessly made an 8-person mansion estate the "bishounen house," which includes several Final Fantasy and Fushigi Yuugi characters amongst others. I think Squall or some idiot kept trying to cook and lit the house on fire about every 10 minutes. And somewhere along the lines I had a house with Eva Unit 00 and a Gundam or something.. can't remember. |

Time to let my inner geek out I guess, back when I was playing the Sims some three or four years ago I had an entire gundam wing house. Not the people mind you, the actual gundams. Wing Zero fell in love with Wing gundam (Kinky huh?) and the house burned down to the ground and Alton gundam died  and there was no one home to pay the reaper. And then I had a house with Noin and Zechs, they had a kid but they never took care of him and child services took him away. Oh the pain, but I can only imagine the different anime characters now, I mean the Gundam house had all Gundam art, statues, and games it was unreal.
The only problem with the Sims, is that it devours your soul. That game will feel like 30 mins has past when in reality it's been 6-7 hours. That is an evil game. Till next time, Delta Kiral |

At least the last time I looked, the quality of Sims 2 anime skins had not yet lived up to the quality of the Sims 1 anime skins. Most likely due to having to manipulate 3-D versus 2-D graphics, and the necessity of having meshes, etc.
Still, if there seems to be a flow of high quality anime skins, I might consider downloading them for my game. Or then again, maybe not. I kind of like keeping my hobbies separate. |

If there were one piece skins/models out there, I would go buy the sims only for that.

I've had many anime neighborhoods. Earlier this week I came across a screenshot I'd saved from some time ago. Wolfwood and Belldandy got married. I guess at some point, Wolfwood burnt down the kitchen. So, while he's standing there, spazzing, the Grim Reaper is standing over Belldandy (who's crumpled pathetically on the floor) and the fireman's hosing down the wall o' flame.
Sometimes, I'd put members of an organization, or just from the same series in one house. I let one of my brother's friends play with one of my Weiss Kreuz houses one day. All the Schwarz guys were friends, but before long, he had Farfarello and Crawford playing in bed.
