what comics? Nausicaa NEVER fails to please ^^ I reckon it should have way more recognition as an Anime classic than Akira. |

Probably the main reason why it DOESN'T have that recognition is that "Akira" was released uncut in the States while, until a couple years ago, "Nausicaa" was only available in the horribly butchered "Warriors of the Wind" edited version, where they cut out a half hour of the movie to "get to the action sooner" but instead made the plot virtually un-followable.
