I just visited Advfilms.com and well it had some strange icon and rock music playing and it had a motto that said....."AYYILDIZ TEAM is the best of cyber attack group in the world"....I'm just curious to know if anyone else is getting this message or if my computer has been hacked...

Yeah it's hacked, as are their other sister sites. I actually came on the forums to check if someone else was noticing this problem since I could not access ADV's Anime Network.

Anyone heard of the term "Karma"?
Although knowing a bit on creating websites, it really sucks for them, but I'm almost positive their webmaster has backups of the original page. Atleast they should considering how many people hate on ADV it was bound to happen eventually. I wonder if the Manga Ent. website will ever get hacked and updated. |

Just tried to visit the site, and could'nt find it, so I guess it's been taken down.
Anyway, sucks for them, but then who knows who could be next. Let's hope that it's the last time we hear from those jackass hackers...... |

The Ayyildiz group (one A, two Ys) is Turkish, not Persian.
They hack pages to put up a propaganda message claiming that the Armenian genocide never happened, and that Kurds are the biggest terrorists on the planet. |

Just got to ANN, and saw it got hacked. Lines through all the news on the front page.
Kurds are biggest terrorists, not the Irish? Ok, so I am only 1/16 Irish. I wonder what kind of hacking "we" are doing on sites in the middle east. I bet a lot are getting re-directs to porn sites! Porn sites to asian countries where they can get nasty viruses that are resistant to anti-virus protection. From a new tool that helped boost productivity to another weapon of war. Plus ca change, plus c'est la meme chose! The more things change the more they stay the same. |

I don't think that ANN got hacked. I believe someone tried to update the News and cross out incorrect information and they forgot to put the at the end of there code. I'm sure it will be fixed soon.

They've attacked a lot of other websites: do a Google search for "Ayyildiz Team". And all the sites they attack seem to be completely random. (Perhaps they can somehow find pages with the same security flaw.) They almost certainly don't have any specific beef against ADV. |
