This, ladies and gentlemen, is why you should never say a series will "never" be licensed.

Oh, at long last! Between the Voltron announcements and this, Media Blasters is going to be getting A LOT of my money!

Kiseki shinpi shinjitsu yume...
Now, let's all pray Tony Oliver isn't signed up to do the ADR script. Kirk "s-CRY-ed/Dual!" Thornton's work is often corny but mostly listenable, and Carl Macek is possibly responsible for "The Galaxy Railways" having one of the best lines in animation history: "You have the right to run like hell!"
The only way this news could be any better is if Media Blasters also announced uncut dubs for Tekkaman Blade and Golion...

That's right guys. Spend lots of money buying those titles!
That way Media Blasters can afford to bring Air, Kanon 2006, and Clannad over here!

I think the odds are most likely that this dub will be done at NYAV, as most of Media Blasters titles have been done there recently.

Ummmm, I think you missed the point? The last sentance in Ryusui's post was obviously a joke.

YES! FINALLY Gaogaigar will be given a proper R1 release.
I wonder if MB has the rights to GGG Final, or just the original series. If they don't, it's up to everyone to buy the series so we can convince them to get it!
Incedentally, I know the odds of this happening are pretty tiny, but I always thought GGG would be perfect for Toonami. Certainly better than Bobobo or that puppet thing.

It probably goes without saying that the guy with the GaoGaiGar avatar thinks this is awesome news, but damn, is this awesome news.

I guess it shouldn't be a surprise that of all the companies, Media Blasters picked this up. They always seem to pick up the weird stuff.
A friend of mine exclaimed Atomic Hat (with proper Engrish pronounciation) whenever he put on his ski cap for quite awhile because of this show.

No, I mean that Tekkaman Blade and Golion, last time I checked, were going to be uncut sub-only releases. Tekkaman Blade and Golion uncut and GaoGaiGar in the U.S. is kick-ass news, but it'd be all the more kick-ass if #1 and #2 on that list also had uncut dubs...

It's either that or Prince of Tennis. Kids need their daily dose of hot-bloodedness!

If they can get older 80's shows like Borgman and Shurato along with Borgman 2058 and the Shurato OAV's plus Minky Momo [Hey, I used to like watching the HK dubs of the original version plus the English version myself!] then I'll be a happy bunny indeed!
