I have heard of a few of these forums around the world. But the only bid media attention they get is if the president of the US is invited. Perhaps what is needed, is more people involved, and not just the "elites" and "geniuses" because it is going to take a lot of average Joe's and Jane's to make any changes to how the world is going around.
I think it is pretty neat that IG CEO Ishikawa was nominated to be the bridge between Japan and the US, as anime is a common thread between the two countries. At least he has proven he can break the ice, and make people laugh. If he can sing Elvis, maybe he will be a future prime minister! |
