Hip! Hip! HURRAH!

I'm really looking forward to the 4th Inu Yasha movie.

Now if Viz would only release the box sets faster. Sad

Uh.... 14 minutes - The time you opened the topic. = The time he post their topic.

Like kusanagi said other topic, which was sadly missed in this one, Maision Ikkoku, one of Rumiko greatest series, final box set gets released on the 4th, sadly it's going to get over shadow by Naruto box set.

Hi. The only Inuyasha movie I have so far is the 3rd one that had this action type cover.. The one that makes slight movement when you look at it from a certain direction.. Did movie 1 and 2 also have a cover like this?
Thanks

Can't wait for Inuyasha movie 4, August 1st? I wonder what the difference will be between Naruto "Uncut", and Naruto "Toonami". Same as DBZ? Just a little blood here and there?

I think it's just a shiny cover, not really any action going on outside the cover, but the DVD itself is encoded with action. I have all three movies, and they all came with shiny covers, the thired one came with the soundtrack bundled inside.

Blood, Japanese track, OPs and EDs, some other bits here and there.

DBZ was more than "just a little blood here and there." Well, at least up through the Freezer Arc it was (after that, when FUNimation gained complete control over the franchise editing decreased dramatically and it basically did become a couple blood fixes, but I digress). The uncut releases of the Saiyan Arc and early half of the Freezer Arc restored a sum total of fifteen episodes worth of cut content, which extended to subplots and sidequests involving much of the supporting cast (which Saban apparently saw as pointless wastes of time...at least with Gohan's survival training I'm inclined to agree but the rest was kind of important), as well as any and all mentions of the first Dragon Ball series.

Naruto, despite the rantings of many fanboys, isn't getting within a hundred miles of the editing job these early DBZ episodes got. When all's said and done, it pretty much is just a couple cuts for the bloodier violence and a small handful of other odd quirks (like Naruto & Sasuke's accidental kiss in episode three). Minor stuff, realistically just slightly above the level of editing that, say, Cowboy Bebop got on Adult Swim.

Will the uncut dub of Naruto still have the whole "Believe it" catch phrase I keep hearing Naruto fanboys ranting about? I haven't seen but five minutes of the dub, so I don't really know much about it and wanted to know what to expect from the uncut dub. I love Naruto, so I'm really looking forward to the uncut DVDs. Does anyone know how many episodes are going to be in the first boxset?

I doubt that they'll rewrite the scripts to avoid the "believe it" line just for the uncut dub...most likely, it'll have the bits and pieces of the video footage that were edited out of the TV version (nosebleed explosions, that kiss, cigarette smoke, other violence) maybe a couple of dialogue edits--for instance, Moegi calling herself "sexy" in episode 20 (this is based on a fansub, and I'm not sure it's reliable in this case).

For me, the biggest news of that small post (I already knew that Naruto uncut was coming in the summer) was that the Full Moon DVDs are going to have subtitled songs. Granted, from any other company, this is the normal expectation, but with Viz, it's a different story...looks like they finally realized, "Gee, maybe we should translate some songs for once, since this is an anime about singing" Rolling Eyes (Thuogh Viz aren't the only ones, as anyone who's watched TokyoPop's Marmalade Boy and listened to those unsubbed insert songs over and over again would know.)
