woah. they mispelled "hayao miyazaki" incorrectly...

I'm glad good anime (and animated movies in general) are finally getting a spot next to big time movies

But, no Asian live-action title was noted in the final 10. I think that "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" or "House of Flying Daggers" could have beaten some of those titles.

this rocks. its always great to see america give anime some f***ing recognition. however, there are some other battles that could have been chosen, like with Akira. u cant ignore the battle scenes in that movie. theyre even better

I saw that one too. The content wasn't too good; it seemed hasty for many of them, but it's still great that anime isn't too far off the radar.

haha. yeah my spelling no good either. (or my typing accuracy)

but misspelling names however can miscredit people

but in this context at least we can tell who it is.

yea maybe in a few years we can see anime getting more positive exposure even if this exposure is being one of the most violent movies of all time or whatever title they awarded it. Unfortunateely illustrates that anime is still not getting enough mainstream press since the movie is almost tens years old (Evangelion, Escaflowne, Cowboy Bebop should have gotten some kind of recognition by now since they are the most recnet; mybe not evangelion so much they only just now put it on adult swim and any anime lover probbaly has the box set). Anyways its a step in the right direction...
