I keep hearing more and more rumors that the Conan manga and anime are gonna end next year. /sob |

The last couple of movies were great. Meikyuu no Crossroad with Hattori. Ginyoku no Magician with KID. Suiheisen no Strategy with a fantastic Kogorou. I hope Tanteitachi no Requiem keeps up with the trend. Well, it has both KID and Hattori, both of which I like more than Kudou, so it better be a great movie ^_~
Rumors of the series ending have been circling for years  Many movie trailers also try to make you think it's the last movie, with all the fake adult Kudou's popping up everywhere

This one actually DOES sound like it COULD be the last movie.
The site says that "all major characters" are going to be in it (whatever that means), Ai is seen in the hospital (which in itself isn't special, but carries so many possible underlying meanings), and near the end of the trailer, it says "Sayonara, Conan." Whatever that means is up to you; I interpret it as being the last (and definitely greatest!) movie though. |

Though all the trailers for the Conan movies try to make you think it's the last movie/ending of series by cutting all kind of parts of the movie together, I have to admit this trailer is quite different from other Conan movie trailers. The lack of the 'Meitantei Conan theme' and the missing "Conan's Hints" that are usually given in the trailers are kinda curious...
