Why is it the best? Explain how manga is better then american comics. PErsonally I find them equal. Comics to me have just as good stories as manga. The artwork on each varies like superman I hate the artwork while spiderman I think has excellent artwork..same goes with manga.

While you may prefer Japanese manga to American comics, there is nothing about manga that makes it intrinsically better. Similarly, the people who say that American comics are "so much better" than manga are expressing their preference, even if they aren't couching it as such.
Both are forms of sequential art, meaning that they exist to tell stories through art. When you get to the heart of the matter, manga and comics are the same thing. They just differ in format and some stylistic elements. The marketing strategies are different between the two. I will conceed that overall the manga market seems to be a bit more girl-friendly than the American comic market, and that it can be argued that there are more types of stories available to readers of manga than readers of American comics. However, this does not make manga better and American comics worse. It just means that the formats are different. I read both manga and American comics, as well as a variety of webcomics. I read them because I enjoy the stories they tell and the characters they introduce me to. It doesn't matter where the story was created or what the art is like (to an extent; there are some stories where I just can't follow them due to the art, but that happens just as frequently with manga as with anything else). ~Shadrach Anki |

Just another noobie wannabe-otaku posting his rant about his preferences and dislikes. WE don't need another "I hate DBZ because it's stopidzzz". And if you are, please explain yourself or give some examples and etc to back your statement up, instead of making blank statement.

Instead of being an obnoxious troll, how about you stop, read the rules, and try coming up with something intelligent to say. It's not hard to formulate a halfway passable response in which you clearly and calmly state your opinion of both manga and comic art outside of Japan, so I see no reason and no excuse as to why you currently aren't.
