I can't find any evidence that one exists, but the music was so beautiful. Anyone know where I can either buy or download it?

It exists: http://nausicaa.net/miyazaki/soundtracks/grave/. However, some searching has failed to produce a place where you can actually order it.

As for downloading it, I strongly advise you to read the forum rules, which completely prohibit asking for this sort of thing. Don't repeat that mistake. We have a low tolerance for it.

The music was good on that movie. It helped set the theme for most of the scenes. Though, that's the kind of movie that's really good but will only watch once every two years, kind of like Saving Private Ryan, which isn't an anime but one movie I consider really good but won't watch very often. As for the soundtrack, I've never actually seen the soundtrack at any stores. You're probably going to have to order it online.

You might want to try samgoody or sun coast video's websites and see if you can't find it there. They are normally more expensive then let say best buys but they have alot more items and that would be my best bet to look. But like I say shop around and try and get cheaper but at same quality.

Didn't mean any harm, I meant officially download. Sometimes when a movie doesn't release a soundtrack, they'll have the main theme avaible for download of just to listen to.

Correction duly noted - forgive me for casting aspersions on your motives.

In case anyone wants to buy it, you can get it from Anime Nation...

I have been planning on buying this for awhile, though, never seem to get around to doing so. Oh well, Christmas is coming up soon! Wink

yknow....I've been looking for this one instrumental piece in Grave of the Fireflies. It's the music that played during the opening "dream" sequence where Seita sees Setsuko in the field as Setsuko picks up the can of jelly beans and then it segues into them riding on the train. Does anyone know the title of that piece? And do they have that on the soundtrack? Thanks in advance!
