It looks like a nice site and stuff, but the DVDs are so cheap, all region free, and all have english subs. It seems it could go either way.

http://www.[This URL is a known Bootlegging website]/

P.S. Sorry for linking if it is bootleg.

If you see "[This URL is a known Bootlegging website]" on your post, now you know.

And knowing is half the battle.

Region Free=99.97% bootleg.
12-13 ep series on 2 discs / 24-26 eps on 3 discs=96% bootleg (there are some legit 2 disc releases for short series, and Shrine of the Morning Mist is on 3--check the ANN Encyclopedia release information to be sure.)

I didn't even think to look at the episodes per disc. Now I look and see 21 episodes on one disc. YIKES!!!!

My friend was telling me that he buys stuff from here. Now I gotta tell him it's bootleg.

ooo, you'll have to tell us if he denies it or not!

sorry, but a lot of people don't want to give up cheap dvds and will defend that they are not bootlegs until the day they die (just see an earlier post here, a link to another forum...)

A.K.A an earlier post of mine . . .

. . .The problem is so many fans rush out to but their DVDs and can't tell the bootlegs from the real thing (Forget about buying them online where you can't view them for a sec). They then realize 3 things: either they never know it's a bootleg, they find out and get their money back (or don't get it back), or start buying more bootlegs seeing that some are cheaper and they get the material faster. This applies to ALL people who buy "authentic" goods, not just anime fans. I've been burned like that before selling a Mets jersey I bought that I later learned was fake. Most people do not want to do research just in order to watch a movie; they just want to watch the movie.
