I've actually been watching this on Disney *it started Monday*, nothing special, but gotta give em points for actually trying to give Pac-Man and his world some form of story/cannon. At the very least its much better then the old Hannah-Barbara cartoon. I think the only thing that really bugs me is that Pac-Man sounds more like a Pac-Boy. *Seriously he sounds way to young, I know he's supposed to be his worlds equivalent to a High School kid, but still, c'mon."
Also, wonder how long before people start complaining about Mrs. Pac-Man being replaced with a Pink Pac-Girl that looks like she's always in cosplay? But yeah, nothing special, but nothing horrible either, mildly entertaining way to kill half an hour. |

I'm actually pleasently surprised they did that. When they gave "Mega Man" a cartoon he sounded way too old and like an adult, despite the fact he's suppose to be a young boy like in all the games and anime versions. "Man" doesn't always mean adult when it comes to Japanese characters. |

Then I suppose it's merely how we want to associate these characters as otherwise (since we don't always ask first). |

Oh,I remember the old Hanna-Barbera "Pac-Man" series very well. I enjoyed that series. I hope they rerun it on Boomerang one of these days. I remember when Pac-Man was a big craze. They had stuff like cereal and other things like that around back in the 80's. If you want to find the Pac-Man cereal commercial,it's there on Youtube. You'd love it.
As for the most recent series,it's very interesting. I watched a little bit of it. It'll be great for younger kids and their parents who remember Pac-Man from when they were kids themselves. I hope it does well. |

I'm glad I was around when all that was going on. I think no doubt spear-headed by the same success the Smurfs were getting then. It's hard to describe how big it all felt. I would be wearing a Pac-Man T-shirt or cap, going to a Pizza Hut that had a Pac-Man machine there or seeing the cartoon show when I wasn't playing the cruddy Atari 2600 port.
Too bad most missed the boat. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBWvdj7zYAA
We hope (and not spur another group of people I can't associate with). |

That was a great response,StudioToledo. But I think you've got the wrong Youtube link. That wasn't for Pac-Man cereal. That was a Spanish-language commercial for the Pac-Man video game. The best commercial for Pac-Man cereal was a group of four kids, two boys and two girls, dancing around the screen doing a dance called the "Pac-Man." It's a really great commercial. I think you should try to find it.

Every one of my responses are great!
I know, I was being irrelevant in a sarcastic way by trying to generalize what that era was like, you kinda have to be looking back!
I have already seen it many times myself (had it on tape). This is it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7jQkBiU_2rg I use to eat that stuff I recall! The only other ads for the cereal though tend to be animated and had the guys bouncing around the kids singing their stupid tune! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9v8dhbS_ow8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yR2FW8Y2ToY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H9cb96jMi5c https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=90kITJxy_4M https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rXAgGtbyUdY There was one ad made to mention the new Ms. Pac-Man marshmallow pieces with a snappy tune! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=76e6YckxrGQ And now for something completely different! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oaL05JZ8zOI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HiTg-30AYsg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PFwvhUfpQ6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c5RHe7hIR-w https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfIvzWgaxVY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3iLhEY6s2Q https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HvJC3h3usR8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=73jtiYlz2WA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJTLOHuQOw8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=112A8lSd0iM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0FzcKIUix5Y https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYTPQdofA1Y https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oAjbfEQKL_o https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBgFbYJcFm0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GDJla7YB9QM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MkXOWwGVX54 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOQrgNGfeGc Thanks! |

Thanks for the Pac-Man cereal video. Sometimes,I can be a little slow to pick up on jokes. Also, thanks for the other videos. I appreciate them. As for "Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures,"it sometimes takes a while for me to get into a show. I think it'll happen. It looks pretty good.
