By all accounts this was an error by the manufacturer, not MVM themselves and MVM couldn't do anything about it other than issue the recall which Amazon etc seem to have ignored.

as far as I'm aware it's in the manufacturing stages where the bulk of QC happens.

Well I got shana'ered. My spine number is MVD2322 if that helps anybody.

2322 was the original SKU; the new one is 2324.
The original EAN (barcode) was 5060067004880. Won't be able to get the new one till the fixed SKU is listed on Amazon.

The do QC on samples, which is why they have check discs etc. If the replicators either print the wrong discs or put the wrong discs in the boxes for the actual print run, MVM aren't going to know until they or someone else opens one of the finished boxes.

But they should be still checking a few either before and or after they get packed and shrink wrapped.
