This kind of story isn't actually uncommon in the soccer world, like US national player Charlie Davies':
"Soccer player Charlie Davies' road to recovery from devastating auto accident leads back to Washington" |

Looks interesting. I'll give it a read, and should there be an anime version one day, it better look like this, Area no Kishi (anime version) was a letdown.
I love football anime ^ _ ^ |

More sport anime is welcomed! Seems like a good drama/sport series, but hell, why must there be a.. childhood friend(?). She yelled "Yuu-chan" and I already know that I won't like her much lol

These kinds of articles are always a bit tricky to write to keep things clear, but I'll just point out again here for clarity that this manga is not getting an anime adaptation. The animated commercial is just an advertisement for the manga itself.
Thanks! |

I think I'd prefer just a second season of Area no Kishi, especially since this is almost the same premise...what is it with soccer manga and MCs who've suffered traumatic injury in their past?
