Now THIS is some sweet news...wish they made this announcement at Animenext last week. Regardless, I need to watch Nisemonogatari before this comes on.

Great news. I hope this means that AoA is going to release on home video (preferably on BD) Nekomonogatari (Black) soon and the second season of Monogatari down the road.

I wonder when Crunchyroll will be able to announce their streams of both.
I have a feeling that Nekomonogatari Black will get a Crunchyroll announcement before July. Great news, even if expected. |

If you REALLY want to get them, you will pay. I am guessing Nekomonogatari (Black) could go for $50 ($80 SRP). Monogatari Series 2nd Season could be offered in two sets, each for $150-170 ($190-220 SRP). |

No matter how much I want them, I cannot afford them and food, and bills. It's just a far too high of price for what is an overrated anime anyway. I did enjoy Bakemono, Nise was too fanservicey and not enough of the good story. 2nd Season from what I've read looks more about story but I knew from the start because of Aniplex's greed that It would never reach the hands of anyone I know except my friend who won a small fortune in the lotto. |

I wonder if I'll be able to buy the series for under $400 ..... getting really sick of Aniplex USA's model; and, yes, this is after having paid stupid money (like a stupid) for the other blu-ray releases in the series. I'm feeling the line when I just don't buy them anymore, and it's coming soon. By which I mean, I probably won't be buying this series because... I'm sick of being treated like a jerk by this company.
