Odd to see Koyuki listed for Beck and not Ryuusuke. I guess the list author thought that the main character would be the best guitarist (same for choosing Yui over Azusa in K-ON, though not nearly as much as a difference in skill level)

I would have picked Ryuusuke if he was listed, but I decided to go with a NANA character. Thought about Ren since he's supposed to be amazing or whatever, but I couldn't bear to credit him with anything because he's an awful, worthless waste of space.
 So I chose Nobu.

This list has it's share of unlucky reincarnations in anime. But,some of them are unluckier than others. No disrespect to the one who did this list but here's my list of the most unluckiest reincarnations in anime:
1.Goro's pets from "Angel Tales":It seems to me that I think that Goro's pets would occupy the top spot on this list. I agree that PETA would have a field day with Goro. Just about all his pets died because of something he did. I'm surprised that they still want to be near him. 2.The "Legend of the Overfiend" guy:Wouldn't you hate to be Tatsuno Nagumo? You're the reincarnation of a violent beast that wants to destroy humanity and having demons hunt you down to destroy you. You're in one of the most notorious anime ever to come out of Japan. Is there any upside to this? Not that I can see. Others might but I can't. 3.Aya Mikage:This poor gal can't seem to catch a break. She's the reincarnation of a ticked-off angel,her own family wants her dead. And from what I've heard of this series,that's the least of her problems. Hopefully,one day this gal will find some happiness. She needs it after all she's been through. Well,that's my version of this list. What do you think? For unluckiest reincarnation, the first character I thought of was Rin Kobayashi from Please Save My Earth.

My Unlucky Reincarnation vote would go to Tohma from Fantastic Children. (Really huge spoilers for the end of the series ahead). spoiler[At first, I was leaning towards thinking that he was going to turn out to be the reincarnation of Soran, who was murdered in a fit of rage by his heartbroken best friend Seth upon Seth realizing that Tina, the young woman they both loved, would never think of him as more than a brother figure or closest male friend. That would have been bad enough, but here's the kicker: Tohma isn't Soran - he's Seth. The climax of the series turns out not to involve Tina's reunion with Soran's reincarnation, but whether or not she can save Seth - who she cares for deeply although she isn't in love with him and is suffering remorse to the point of being suicidal - by forgiving him for taking Soran away from her in their initial incarnations. ]
