Why is June moving so slowly for me? Last year, when I DID want it to move slowly it went by faster than ever.

Will definitely watch, but I'm not so sure about the "little sister" and "teacher"... ¬_¬ all that's missing is the "boobalicious, motherly type" *sigh*

If it's funny and well-written, I'll watch it. But KyoAni's last few shows (excluding the fantastic "Chuunibyou") have really given me low hopes. Hopefully, they prove me wrong!

I'm not 100% sure about what you're trying to say here, but if you think the female characters are just there to fill the trope/stereotype quota, then I implore you to rethink.

B-b-b-but everything is about stereotype quotas! Azuma told me so!

If it build upon the writing I'm all for it.
Is it better to try to grab a wide audience instead of trying to appeal to one demographic .
Sorry if I sound harsh.

Fujoshi generally abhor female characters in their yaoi pairings. They see them as a threat and competition to the homosexual lust dynamic.

I'll give this anime a try since it seems to be getting major buzz on the inter-webs.
On another note, it'll be hard for me not to think of Sailor Moon's Makoto when the actual guy Makoto is being acknowledged.

You, of course, are ignoring that Otaku are the exact same way with men in their yuri.

I don't think Otaku are the exact same way with little brothers and male teachers in their yuri.

I'm talking about men in general in yuri or even Otaku shows in general (the whole "girl-only" show dynamic didn't come from nothing).

Trust me, there will always be some people like that regardless of their gender or interest. You'd get the exact same response from a highly anticipated series that initially seemed to be "female cast only" that suddenly introduced a good-looking younger brother and male teacher as part of the supporting cast.
Doesn't make the reactions any less overblown, but.
