Cool. It'll get a lot more exposure on Nick than it would on the Vortexx, and hopefully less censoring(though I doubt much will change in that regard). Look forward to checking out the dub.

haven't been watching, but great that this is happening, maybe if more kids see this, we can get more kids into anime. We need the younger generation to watch too if we want to keep anime goin in the west

Woo-hoo! I've been waiting for this one, though I kept expecting it to go to the Vortexx instead. Maybe Nick can consider airing the older entries in the franchise if this does well enough for them.

Whoa!! It's going on Nickelodeon of all places?! YES!!! I never thought it'd be like this, but this is awesome!! It'll get some decent exposure!! Considering this is the case, I wonder if other Digimon seasons will premiere on there too?

That would be the smart thing to do, really would help to get kids into the franchise again. Especially if they transition straight into season seven, otherwise kids aren't going to get the references to the previous seasons later on. Emerje |

Well for starters, I can see Mervamon being replaced with Moralitymon, a woman who dresses modestly and does nothing provocative or enticing or using her body to get what she wants. Otherwise I expect the usual editing Digimon has gotten. Toned down violence, nudity and sex removed, plot points dumbed down and changed, scenes cut, and the lovely addition of bad one liners every three seconds. Usual stuff. Probably more intense given this is Nickelodeon and they're more uptight, if their adaption of Shinkenger is any indication. And "Mikey" huh? So much for keeping the naming convention the series has had since Adventures. That's a shame. |
