Nozomu Goto and Nozomi Goto both contain animator credits from a person with the same kanji 後藤望 (the only exception is 後藤のぞみ for the two Naruto movie credits, who could potentially be a different person).
There are only a few sources on the person's given name and they're conflicting. Allcinema shows Nozomu. However, an archive of Gainax's staff page shows Nozomi. Only romanized US credits I could check were FUNi's for Corpse Princess and Panty & Stocking, and both were "Nozomi". Since "Nozomi" is direct from Gainax, that looks more reliable to me. |
