Ah, that explains why their website didn't have info on Witch Hunter/Buster. The second omnibus cemented my decision to buy them, actually, I've just been patiently waiting until now! Sucks for them they need to re-release the first two with just a different cover, at least they don't need to change much of the inside. So yeah, I am glad to hear that they didn't axe the series out of nowhere, that would've made me sad panda

That's good to hear about Witch Hunter! It looked interesting, but I wasn't about to start collecting a series when it had seemed like the first book went OOP so obscenely fast. I'll catch it on the reprints, now.

As a shoujo/CLAMP/Yuu Watase fan, would the Alice series be worth investing in? I can't believe how many there are, but when I get into something I go ALL in, but I am curious on these... They see pretty popular and always end up on the best sellers' list!

I'd say check out the original series first and go from there. All of these spin off books just seem to be "Alice gets with ____ now!" AU short stories. You could just get the main series and then the books for whichever guys you like best? It helps that most of these are either only one volume long or relatively short.

As a shojo fan, I'd say go for it. I mean, I like it because there are hot guys who are mildly-to-manically psychotic, so there you go. If you like CLAMP, you're probably used to that. Anime hyper

I agree, although even if you don't love the Cheshire Cat, I'd suggest reading his series, Cheshire Cat Waltz, anyway, simply because it goes into more depth and backstory than the others, which are pretty much as ZepysGirl said - AU romances.

Will do, thanks! Thanks to Yen by releasing the whole thing in omnibuses. Been close to picking them up, but then they dropped low on my priority list.

Personally, no. You have to sort of keep in mind while reading this series that it is based off an otome game, aka a game where you go around a set world, surrounded by pretty boys who all want to get with you, the main character, depending on the choices you make. The Alice series is a series of video games, set in a wonderland inspired world, but everyone is rather homicidal.

Each manga seems to be based on the various games (Land of Hearts, Land of Clover) and while they're sort of interesting to a degree, this is not a comic you want to get if you want something with an in depth story line or are looking to avoid really generic characters. The focus is on the reverse harem.

I say stop with the manga spin offs, and just give me an English translation of the first computer game already.
