well i have to say i just finished watching the anime and was kinda dissapointed with the ending and was wondering if it was more detailed in the manga.

It prabably is.....i've never seen the anime....but it ends only in the 6th book of the manga....i've only read to the 8th volume....and i don't know what happens at the end of the manga....so don't ask....and there's only 11 volumes out so,don't count on the last book to come out soon....it's probably coming out in the spring....all i know it won't be coming out this year...there is going to be like 15 volumes...i don't exactly remember spoiler[I also have a spoiler alot of people don't know,Akito has been one of my fav. charecters,and alot people thinks i'm stupid for liking him,because he's mean to the family yeah i know i had enough of that......Akito is really a,........girl.Yeah i know.I don't know exactly in what volume it is in but it's true.  ][/spoiler]

That would be volume 17 that we find a little more about Akito.

I've just finished 9 (which was supprisingly mediocre; all sappy and repetative filler), and haven't seen the show, so just how much plot development goes on in-between those volumes? Fruits Basket just strikes me as something that could stall, but then again since I've only read about half of it I could be wrong. |
