First, you do realize that there are these things called punctuation and capitalization, right? If so, it would be appreciated if you would use them in future posts.
Second, I don't think Cougar is actually Kazuma's blood brother. It was always my impression that he was more of a "big brother" to Kazuma, much like Kazuma is a "big brother" to Kaname. (I could be wrong about that, though.)
Third, IIRC Cougar explains at some point that he was picked up by HOLY years earlier and sent to the mainland for some retooling. His appearance did change quite a bit as a result of that, which is why Kazuma might not have recognized him right away.

Since your talking about s-cry-ed spoilers, could you tell me what episode nine was about. It aired on AS on saturday and i don't get why Kazuma attacked the black and white lighting Alter user and what was that transformation he had. Also, at the end of the episode when the lightning alter user dissapeared was he destroyed or was that Kazuma because as soon as the lighting alter user dissapeared, Kazuma appeared.

Even with the spoiler tag on the thread, you should still use spoiler tags on that.
To answer your questions, Kazuma didn't feel he was powerful enough after his last confrontation with Ryuho, so he went on a quest to seek greater power, which to his mind meant finding the source of Alter powers. He attacked the black/white guy because, well, Kazuma's just the kind of guy who will fight anything in front of him which looks like a challenge. His transformation came from interacting with a more pure source of Alter power from the Other Side, which boosted his own ability.
As for the bit at the end, it was just a bit of theatrics on the part of the series producers. They're two completely separate entities, and you haven't see the last of that other guy.

Is that why Cugar calls him Kazuya? I did'nt read any of the spoilers so I don't know if this was asked.

S-CRY-ed had one of the only open-ended endings that I actually liked. I'll have to pick up the manga sometime.

In the flashback Cougar looked quite similar to how he looks now, save the grey streak. Also in ep. 8 when Kazuma joined Holy he got along with everyone just fine except for Cougar - he recognized him.

From TV.com, it should get you up to speed but there's some bad language and some murdering of character names though.
Sherrice and Ryuhou spend the intro of the episode capturing some more inners for detaining and looting some Hold officers. I assume the town was contained and sent away to be prisoners, but that's just an assumption, not nessicarily canon. Kimishima and Kazuma travel to another town and bump into people who are empathetic with Holy. An inner? Empathetic for holy?! They both smell fishy business, and can see that the source is coming from a local Holy guy, Emergy Maxfell. He spends some time giving toy robots to children in the town and being overly nice to them all. Kazuma and Kimishima take him aside (much to the sour looks of the kids) and try to get the truth out of him. Emergy spends some time trying to be coy and sweet with the the two guys, and neither one takes kindly to it. After they smack around Emergy (who is acting like a sadist, reveling in being put into a crisis -- "please, put more crisis onto me! I love it! I need it!"), he is cornered. He holds up a button and says that the toys were rigged with explosives, and they get the button away from him, only to find that he has an endless supply of detonators. They beat the shit out of him for about 1.5 minutes and then he gets to pressing one of the buttons -- It was all a joke! The toys weren't rigged after all! Still pissed off (as if it were a surprise?) Kazuma beats him to a pulp, right up to the edge of a cliff. His clothes rip off somewhere to reveal a new under suit, which looks like it has breasts in it. Now, either this is some cute idea of a Japanese gay joke, or whoever did the character design for Emergy just weren't thinking straight. Anyhow, Emergy immediately freaks out and turns into a little sissy, flashbacking to a child being by a cliff, chased off by "white staring eyes...leave me alone! I did nothing to you!". Super Pinch Crisis appears, and its pretty much a huge version of his little doll. him and Kazuma fight, and the doll goes through 3~5 transformation modes before it is finally blown to smithereens by Kazuma & his improved shell bullet. Emergy gets knocked off a cliff, and as we find out later, I'm not sure if he'll ever be in the right state of mind again. Back to the issue that we left off with in the last episode, we deal with Mimori who confronts Martin Sigmar and says that she knows what their plan is, why they are openly apathetic towards the Holy POWs, and that if they don't fix it real quick, she'll blab it out for the whole world to know. Sigmar doesn't take kindly to this, and has her immediately locked up in a prison cell. If only she kept her mouth shut!

Definitely, it's one of my favorite series, though I bought them by volume with the artbox myself.

i also got the single disc releases but not the box but the box/brick set is more than worth it. i also have the 5 manga volumes, thats what got me into the series in the first place, i havnt read it in a while but i think i remember cougar actually saying goodbye to kazuma when they were younger because he wanted to join holy to better both of their lives. cougar calls kazuma ¨kazuya¨ because he supposively has trouble remembering other characters name´s. i dont believe that was in the manga either. the manga is also great its a semi-different story and some alters are illustrated a lot better.

I bought the box set complete series not single disk but it was expensive it was $120 and the lady said the cheapest outside the anime expo was $160. However, Best buy sells it for $100 so just buy it from their I got lucky because the lady who was qworking their wasnt going to charge me tax and then her boss came and is all like you gotta charge tax its like $10 dollars but it was $8.40 i am good at math and can do tax in my head any way he was so angry at his employee that he was like hold on your gonna get something free. It was the box set of angel tales not the complete collection and not the type of anime I was into but i wasnt going to be picky and the retail price was forty dollars so i have to say that that was a sweet deal . Oh sorry for giving that small anecdote. Anyway the boxset complete collection was worth it i think although the shape of the box makes it harder to find places to put it but the thing i liked about the dvd and not just waiting for everything to air was the narrated comics on the dvd but they kinda confused me because they seemed to take place after the story onto a new one but it was bizarre because all of a sudden Martin zigmar is there back and kicking and describing to Ryoho some plan Zigmar and Ryoho's mother came up with and that pretended to be dead so she can go to the mainland and leave Ryoho to Martin Zigmar in exchange and Ryoho gets all sad and then you see Scerise naked saying Ryoho dont waste the life i gave your somthing like that and it was just confusing.

Is the manga different from the anime? When i saw part of the manga on the s-Cry-ed DVD under the extras menu, it looked like a different storyline. Especially on volumes 8 dvd. Is it true that Zigmar is a pretty boy that's 19 years old? That's what Kazuma and Ryuho called him.

the manga is better in my opinion well storywise atleast. the manga also has a couple of the same characters but different alters. if i remember correctly zigmars alter is the guy with the different colored arms who killed ryuhous mom and he has the power to control time. so sigmar is really nineteen because he uses his alter to remain young. i dont believe that was the same is the anime. in the manga alters can also evolve into their own seperate entities and act on their own free will. i highly recommend the manga and its only 5 volumes. battle royale is up to volume 13 and its not nearly as awesome as s-cry-ed. one tip though i dont recommend reading the synopsis on the back of the volumes because they give away the main events in the readings. if you have enough free time you can always go to your local book store and actually read the all the volumes. if you like them purchase them if you dont well sorry i wasted your time.
