That's some really slick animation right there. I'm starting to think that the figures may not do the show justice. This looks to be a lot of fun, I'm really looking forward to it now (though it's a little ninja heavy).

Try reading for a change before you start your rants. This GI Joe is being done by the same studio that did Hellsing, Last Exile, and other anime. So it's G.I. Joe being done by an anime studio, thus certainly qualifies for news for this site.

Also, does anyone else not get sound with the trailer?

I don't either. The little sound thingy on Quicktime didn't even show up so I figured it was silent by design.

After downloading it and playing it on Media Player Classic, I don't think it's supposed to have sound.

Sound unfortunately isn't included with this trailer but there's going to be a preview of the first episode this Saturday morning on FOX so I encourage all interested to watch.
As a long time fan of both Anime and G.I. Joe I'm really excited that this series was made and is getting broadcast. Some of my more diehard G.I. Joe fan friends were skeptical that G.I. Joe would make for a good Anime but after seeing the trailer most of them had serious second thoughts.
And this is a GONZO Studio production so I'm sure it won't dissapoint any hardcore Anime fans out there who give it a try.
