Does anybody know when Robot Volume 1, the anthology by Range Murata and other artists is supposed to come out? Amazon just says "July" and the Digital Manga site says simply "Summer 2005". From what I've heard about it, it sounds like it would be really interesting, but I can't find any specific information on when it is coming out.

It is supposed to be July. That's all I've managed to scrounge up. I emailed their distributor and was told it would be released to Borders/Walden Books and Barnes & Noble. Those are the only two I know of.

Can this book be found in the Encyclopedia? Confused I've checked under "R" and in the "not manga but related" sections.

It's found on Range Murata's "People Info" page in the encyclopedia. Since it is technically more of an artbook than a manga.

Also it isn't done by one artist, so I wouldn't know how that would work out in the encyclopedia. Though I would like to see it have its own page in the manga section.

At this point, you might do better to take a look at the sites of some of the online anime shops - since DMP were already selling volumes of this at Anime Expo a month ago.

Actually they moved it to mid-August because DMP wanted to fix the binding problems from the first print run.
