Does anyone know more about this?
article of Kiseiju movie Variety.com (English) YomiuriNews (Japanese) and I'd like to know everyone's impression of other movies which based on manga. the Fist of North Star, Ichi the Killer, Cutey Honey, Devilman, etc Has anyone seen other title? Nothing has been heard of them since I heard Hollywood decided to make DragonBall, Evangelion, Jojo's Bizzare Adventure. are those wild rumor? I want Kiseiju not to fall into same trap as them. |

I'm not so sure about the Jojo thing, although an animated(i think) movie of part 1 is being made.
Also, there's plans for a movie based on Monster by Naoki Urasawa |

There are the constant rumors of Battle Angel Alita being made, then being shelved, then being made again.
And remember the Dragon Ball movie? Most likely there will be movies made using manga as a basis, but most of the rumors we're hearing about are in what's called development hell. There will be script after script and deal after deal before a project gets the "greenlight." |
