I just recently picked up Cosplay Koromo-Chan for the first time in order to review it for Protoculture Addicts 85, and I was completely and utterly dumbfounded.
I think I understand why this manga is supposed to be funny, it's attemting very much the same thing as Azumanga Daioh and Yotsuba&!. But while I like Azuma's work, I think Cosplay Koromo-Chan is completely and utterly unfunny. I get to the "punch-line" in eachs trip and 9 times out of 10 it's just not funny at all. The 10th time it's barely funny. So I was wondering, if there's anyone here who likes it. Can you clue me in on what I'm missing ? -t |
