When it comes to CLAMP news, I'm not even going to try to act surprised anymore.
That said, I hope they got/get better and that we'll see the English release of the manga soon :3

Yeah, I had the same reaction. Even though, in this case, the delay isn't even their fault. Recent stuff still doesn't bode well for this continuation to be any good, though I suppose it can't be worse than how the manga ends at the moment ... or can it?

For all you know she could be relevant xD I'll be honest, I can't imagine the series being that interesting if she stays...absent. *shrug*
