I don't know if anyone here has read or seen anything about this but I think it deserves to be added to Not Anime but Related.
めざめの方舟 Mezame no Hokobune (Waking Ark) is a live-action, musical-like performance that was held at this year's Aichi Expo, in the Mountain of Dreams pavilion, in Japan. It was directed by Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell, Avalon) and the music was composed by Kenji Kawai (Ghost in the Shell, Ring). A DVD of the performance comes out at the end of the month I think. He mentioned that wouldn't be doing anymore anime for a while and that his next project was something that he couldn't really explain. I'm sure he was talking about this. |

I think it should just go under the respective staff member profiles. There have been tons of musicals related to anime in Japan in different ways, and I dunno if the encyclopedia should really be filled with them. o_o;
