Really, what is the point of this? You can't really see that much on those little screens on cellphones.

I never saw the point of UMD either. I'd rather see stuff full-scale. This reminds me of the manga hair-gel.
 There are other things fans want out there, y'know.

Agreed. This does seem very bad, although Big Business(TM) seems to be pushing these all-in-one phones.

I don't get it either. Games are one thing, for when you're waiting in an airport or bored on the bus or something, but holding up a 2x1 inch screen to your face and trying to read a comic book sounds embarassing, not to mention uncomfortable.
I lost all hope in the cell phone industry when they released "moan tones". (Basically, porn stars making noises as your ring tone.) Occasionaly these guy's will come up with something cool, (Like ringbacks, little songs you can choose for when someone dials you, almost like muzak.) but most of the time they're just coming up with something to dazzle the college kids. Still, it's nice to know that people who like reading comics will now be able to do so at any time of the day. |
