To censor this film, they've probably just added that awful blur effect that they abuse whenever a flashback occurs.

The R-15 rating makes me LOL knowing the part of the story it is.
Will make me LOL more when the movie hits the US and I find it next to a children's movie in Wal-Mart (I'm serious, btw: I haz photographic proof). Can't wait to see it; I love dark fantasy too much. Kinda iffy to see what kind of censorship awaits and I wonder if a darker NR version of the movie might crop up in the future upon disk-release. (Does Japan even do NR movies? I really don't know... makes me curious now.) |

If something like Shigurui was aired on TV as R-15, then there's nothing to worry about. |

Wouldn't surprise me, that scene in the manga was incredibly graphic, and the original anime didn't even show the full extent. |
