I was bit skeptical about Level-E since I heard it was Togashi's(creator of Yu-Yu Hakusho, and HunterXHunter) only comedy series, but it looks interesting. I'll give it a shot when it comes out.
Had to laugh at the live action bits

Yeah, that was pretty bizarre. I wonder if Shokotan is going to sing the opening theme.

I couldn't stand Hourou Musuko. But then I reread its plot summary and realized how awesome it could be.
I don't recall Level E on any winter charts. Was it just recently announced or something?
It does look very interesting.

Hopefully this'll mean that Viz will finally license the manga. I love YYH and HxH so I've always wanted to read it.

Wondering Son looks AMAZING! The animation is beautiful! Can't wait for it.

Oh wow, I thought Aoi Hana was pretty, but Hourou Musuko looks absolutely gorgeous.
I don't know much about its story (and I'm not a huge fan of the gender-bender formula), but I've heard so much good things about Wondering Son that I'm gonna have to check this one out.

Oh, wow! I didn't know Hourou Musuko was being animated. I'm looking forward to it. And I can't wait to get my copy of the manga.

I'm not one to nitpick but, Wondering Son sounds so dull. Perhaps we should call it Wandering Son.

Why would the manga being made into an anime in Japan have any bearing on whether Viz decided to release it in the US?
Also, the buffer time on this promo video is driving me nuts!
Edit: Finally! Animated section looks decent, but after that into part of me wants to see this done as live action.

It's not a formulaic gender-bender, though. It's nothing like Ouran High School Host Club or Prunus Girl or No Bra or whatever. It's about two kids who bond over their common secret, that they identify with their opposite gender. It's heavy on the angst given the mistreatment kids in their situation face in real life. Count the number of times you hear the phrase "kimochi warui" (gross) in the trailer.
I'm not sure how I feel about the art style. Everyone looks as though they are wrapped in saran wrap.

The gloss is an odd effect. Can't really figure out why they're going that route: I can imagine the anime being pretty visually bland considering how cheap most anime series look, but this looks too artificial/forced.

Excellent, thanks for the additional infos. Now it really does look like something I would enjoy (it does sound like a character-driven story, which is something I usually like a lot).
As for the art style, I don't know... I personally liked Aoi Hana's style quite a bit so I'm quite pleased that Hourou Musuko will be somewhat similar. But yeah, maybe they overdid it a bit with the glossy hair everywhere.

Level E is strange and confusing. Is it supposed to be a comedy? My brain hurts and I don't know what's going on.
Looking forward to Hourou Musuko, I liked Aoi Hana a lot.

Looking forward to seeing Hourou Musuko. Too bad the manga released got moved up to 2011. I really wanted to read it. I wish someone would pick up Aoi Hana. Because both the series and manga are worth recommending.

The fact that the live action bits of Level E were the most interesting to me is pretty sad.
That aside, I'm cautiously excited to see Wandering Son. The plot kind of fell apart for me after awhile of reading, so I'm hoping the anime can deliver a more cohesive plot.

Is Hourou Musuko actually going to look like that? Because if so: wow. I just hope they manage to maintain a consistent level of quality.
