I think I have found at least 4 (possibly a fifth) people, spread across 3 entries, and all mixed up.

[forgive me, I don't know how to write names fancy with macrons, so I'm just writing them as I read the kana]

The first person has the kanji name of 佐藤由紀. This person is in the encyclopedia here (as Yuki Satou), with animation credits for a 8 titles, including the xxxHOLiC movie and the Tsubasa: Shunraiki OAV. However, there is also a Yuki Sato in the encyclopedia, who also worked on Tsubasa/xxxHOLiC titles, including the Tsubasa movie that came out with the xxxHOLiC movie. The sources for the Tsubasa/xxxHOLiC titles are either outdated or do not list animators. However, the sources for the Production Desk credits for the Lupin III do lead to the same kanji name of 佐藤由紀. This leads me to believe that Yuki Sato's Production Desk and animator credits belong to Yuki Satou.

Additionally, there is a Yuuki Sato in the encyclopedia, with animation credits for Cardcaptor Sakura, xxxHOLiC, and the original .hack games. The source is IMDB, which does not list its sources, but I think there it is reasonable enough to link this credit to 佐藤由紀.

Credits I cannot believably connect or disconnect to 佐藤由紀 are the Producer, Publicity , and "Special Thanks to" credits (no checkable sources) on this entry.

The Hellsing Ultimate credits (on youtube, as linked for source), I cannot find the kanji name 佐藤由紀 in, leading me to think that the CG credits here, and likely the uncheckable Place Promised in Our Early Days credit likely belongs to a second person, although I cannot make out the kanji under the "Atelier Bitol" heading well enough to identify specific names.

[EDIT: Shiroi Hane was able to ID the credit in question from Hellsing as 佐藤裕樹 [Sato(u) (Hiroki|Yuuki)]. Place Promised doesn't have kanji credits. See post #2]

The manga author credit for Youkai Doctor is a third person. The Japanese wikipedia page lists the author as 佐藤友生 (Satou Yuuki by the hirogana given). There is a Yuuki Satou listed in the encyclopedia, although this appears to be a voice actor unrelated to this mess (Hiroyuki Satou, who goes by the shortened "Yuuki" for some roles).

We're not done with the Yuki Sato entry, though. The entry also includes 3 anime roles. Finding the Japanese Wikipedia page for Himekishi Angelica and following the cast credit for her character led me to the Japanese Wikipedia page for サトウ ユキ (Saitou Yuki), who has quite a number of voice roles (mainly from games, but a few OAV as well), making this a fourth person.

Finally, the Yuki Sato entry also lists two English-language translation roles, neither of which appear on the staff or cast roles for any. The sourced link for Battle Skipper eventually leads to this CrystalAcids page, listing Yuki Sato as a translator for 7 other titles (including the other translation role in the encyclopedia). This is most likely a fifth person.

So, my TL;DR version:

Person 1: 佐藤由紀 (Animator, Production Desk)
Proper Entry
Animation and Production Desk roles here
This entire entry

Person 2: 佐藤裕樹 (CG animation)
CG credits for Hellsing & The Place Promised in Our Early Days credits
Shiroi Hane provided the kanji for the name. It's either Hiroki Sato(u) or Yuuki Sato(u). Place Promised's credits are English-only, credits Yuki Sato.

Person 3: 佐藤友生 (mangaka)
Youkai Doctor Manga credit
Japanese wikipedia page

Person 4: サトウ ユキ (Seiyuu)
Cast roles
Japanese Wikipedia page

Person 5: Yuki Sato (translator)
English-language Staff Roles
CrystalAcids link

For Encyclopedia pages, it appears that
this (proper) entry and this (duplicate) entry can just be merged, but that this entry needs to have roles split between 5 different people (at least four, and possibly more with the credits I can't link to anyone).

And I still have no clue what to do with the "producer" (possibly 佐藤由紀), publicity, and "Special Thanks To" credits.

This one I have no clue with. Someone who has access to better-than-youtube quality credits, and the TPPiOED credits will have to figure out where these two credits go

Well, my Hellsing OVA discs are within arms reach anyway..
Looks like 佐藤裕樹 - Sato[u] (Hiroki|Yuuki). Can't make head nor tail of the equivalent section in the English credit roll.

Oh, and Place Promised is still in my travel case on the other side of the bed.. as I suspected from ADV, English credits only. For what it's worth:

Thanks for the input. I've edited the post to add in the kanji name for person #2. Given that those were the only two CG credits in the list, I'm pretty sure that they're probably the same person.

I copy and paste from a dedicated text document I keep open all the time (it's also the source of most of my BBCode). The applicable line:

Jim Breen lookup for 祐大 = Masahiro or Yuudai

This might be the same person as some credits of Masahiro Satou (animator) who was credited for 3DCG in 5cm per second (another Makoto Shinkai work).

-----

Pom Poko (the "special thanks to") has a good kanji source at http://www.ghibli-freak.net/pompoko/staff.html with a number of entries credited for 協力, including 佐藤由紀 (SATOU Yuki/Yuuki).

-----

He is my master (Producer) - source "D2_STATION", the URL would be http://www1.vecceed.ne.jp/~m-satomi/Heismymaster.html with
プロデューサー:源生哲雄 関戸雄一 佐藤裕紀 古神子広一 (Yuki/Yuuki/Hiroyuki + 3 others)

-----

Evangelion Death & Rebirth (Publicity) - source JMDB is broken but Google produces this url: http://www.jmdb.ne.jp/WalWiki/wiki/BFB7C0A4B5AAA5A8A5F4A5A1A5F3A5B2A5EAA5AAA5F3B7E0BEECC8C7A1A1A3D4A3C8A3C5A1A1A3C5A3CEA3C4A1A1A3CFA3C6A1A1A3C5A3D6A3C1A3CEA3C7A3C5A3D2A3C9A3CFA3CE.txt with has 宣伝 (publicity) : 佐藤裕紀

-----

Cardcaptor Sakura Movie 2 The Sealed Card: Apparently JMDB has once been a valid source for this, as googling for "封印されたカード" "佐藤由紀" produces exactly one hit there.

I found a pretty large listing of CCS Movie 2 credits recently here (when I was looking for "Shochiku Project Team" kanji):
http://www.geocities.jp/inutori_bekkan/database/m_ccsakura2.html

The person credited seems to be 佐藤雄紀 not 佐藤由紀

I have the R1 release of the second movie, but I don't think it has kanji credits (I'll have to check).

I've also got the R1 CCS movies.
I did used to have an old bootleg copy (bought in error), but I gave it to someone who didn't have an R1 player when I replaced them.

For the record, they're credited as "Yuuki Sato", an in-betweener with Madhouse.

The first movie's R1 release actually has kanji credits, though, because there's an alternate angle with Nelvana's English credits (including their translation of the Japanese credits) on one angle and the original Japanese credits on the other (with Pioneer-only credits appearing in subtitles).

No such luck with the second movie. Besides the source I found above, I also found the credits on Madhouse's site too.

I think CCS Movie 2 may be the only credit we have for this particular person (佐藤雄紀). The xxxHolic movie is the more prolific Production IG animator (佐藤由紀) as noted here. The Production IG person is probably "Yuki" and not "Yūki" or "Yuuki" (like Madhouse inbetweener here).

The non-anime staff credits in the above entry are probably this Gainax staff person named Hiroki Satō (佐藤裕紀). Some of his credits are Hiroki Sato (though the kanji listed is not his and some credits may be someone else), as well as all "Producer" credits in Yuki Sato.

Okay, so looking over the credits and people we have, let's see what we've figured out goes where.

Confirmed (or closely confirmed) credits are at the top color-coded to who they belong to. Unconfirmed credits are under that, with no color.
Credit belongs to 佐藤由紀
Credit belongs to 佐藤雄紀
Credit belongs to Yuki Sato (Yuuko Satou?) [translator]
Credit belongs to 佐藤裕樹
Credit belongs to 佐藤裕紀 <- sorry this one's harder to read, I was running out of colors to code with
Credit belongs to 佐藤祐大
Credit belongs to 佐藤友生 (SATOU Yuuki, by Jpn Wikipedia) [mangaka]
Credit belongs to サトウ ユキ [seiyuu]

Entry #1 (Yuki SATOU, kanji listed 佐藤 由紀)
Brave Story (movie) : Animation (Production I.G) -> Source confirms 佐藤由紀
Eden of the East (TV) : 2nd Key Animation (ep 11) -> Source confirms 佐藤由紀
Tsubasa: Shunraiki (OAV) : Key Animation -> Source confirms 佐藤由紀
XxxHOLiC the Movie: A Midsummer Night's Dream : In-Between Animation -> Confirmed in credits as 佐藤由紀. EmperorBrandon provided link here for source.

(Le) Chevalier D'Eon (TV) : In-Between Animation (eps 1, 6, 8, 11)
---> Cannot confirm, DVDs do not include in-betweeners in the credits*
*The Le Chevalier d'Eon credits are uncheckable from the R1 ADV DVDs. The source listed is the Preview DVD, which I don't know how to get a hold of. Does anyone have full kanji credits? IIRC, FUNimation rereleased the set, does the set have in-betweener credits (in romanji or kanji)?
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex: Solid State Society (movie) : In-Between Animation (Production I.G.)
---> Cannot confirm, don't have DVDs, source does not include link
Immortal Grand Prix (TV 2) : In-Between Animation (eps 1-2, 13)
---> Cannot confirm, don't have DVDs, source does not include link
(The) Prince of Tennis: Two Samurais, The First Game (movie) : In-Between Animation (Production I.G.)
---> Cannot confirm, don't have DVDs, source does not include link

Entry #2 (Yuuki Sato, no kanji given)
XxxHOLiC the Movie: A Midsummer Night's Dream : In-Between Animation -> Confirmed to be 佐藤由紀; see above entry, this is a duplicate credit.
Cardcaptor Sakura Movie 2: The Sealed Card : In-Between Animation -> Confirmed to be 佐藤雄紀. Sources provided by EmperorBrandon here and here.

GAINAX Staff Member for ".hack//Infection" (VG) (Japanese)
GAINAX Staff Member for ".hack//Mutation" (VG) (Japanese)
GAINAX Staff Member for ".hack//Outbreak" (VG) (Japanese)
GAINAX Staff Member for ".hack//Quarantine" (VG) (Japanese)

---> Cannot confirm these for or against (source is IMDB, and the games' video galleries don't include the credits).*
*Emperor Brandon has found this person (Hiroki Satō/佐藤裕紀), whom these credits likely belong to, and who may be mixed in with Hiroki Sato (佐藤 宏紀), here.

Entry #3 (Yuki Sato, no kanji given)
(Staff: English version)
Battle Skipper (OAV) : Translation Confirmed to be Yuki Sato here
Please Save My Earth (OAV) : Translation Confirmed to be Yuki Sato here
The credits shown at the above source also include roles currently credited in the encyclopedia to Yuuko Satou. Judge lists two other translators, and Ogre Slayer and Garaga do not list translator credits, so those credits from CrystalAcid do not exist in the Encyclopedia attached to either name.

(Staff: Japanese version)
Bungaku Shōjo (movie) : Key Animation -> Source confirms 佐藤由紀
Chocolate Underground (ONA) : Key Animation
Lupin III: Dragon of Doom (special) : Production Desk -> Source confirms 佐藤由紀
Lupin III: Farewell to Nostradamus (movie) : Production manager -> Source confirms 佐藤由紀
Lupin III: Voyage to Danger (special) : Production Desk -> Source confirms 佐藤由紀
Pom Poko (movie) : Special Thanks To -> Confirmed as 佐藤由紀 via this link provided by Devil Doll
Shin chan (TV) : Key Animation -> Source confirms 佐藤由紀
Hellsing Ultimate (OAV) : 3DCG Animation (Atelier Bitol; ep 1) -> Source confirms 佐藤裕樹 (see screenshot for better view.
He is my Master (TV) : Producer -> Source confirms 佐藤裕紀
Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth (movie) : Publicity -> Confirmed as 佐藤裕紀 via this link from Devil Doll.
(The) Place Promised in Our Early Days (movie) : CG Modeling Cooperation (CW) -> Confirmed as 佐藤祐大, as per this screenshot provided by Devil Doll.*
*May be Masahiro Satou (animator), who also has CG credits for another of Makoto Shinkai's works.
Yokai Doctor (manga) : Author -> Confirmed via Japanese Wikipedia page here

Kaiketsu Zorori Mahō Tsukai no Deshi Dai-Kaizoku no Takara-sagashi (movie) : Production Desk
---> Cannot confirm, source link is no longer valid
Library War (TV) : Key Animation (ep 1)
---> Cannot confirm, source does not list animators
The source does list Production I.G. as doing the animation, however, which leads to it likely being 佐藤由紀.
(The) Melody of Oblivion (TV) : Producer
---> Cannot confirm, no source
Naruto the Movie: Guardians of the Crescent Moon Kingdom : In-Between Animation (Production IG)
---> Cannot confirm, no source
Sengoku Basara Two (TV) : 2nd Key Animation (ep 1)
---> Cannot confirm, no linked source
This Ugly Yet Beautiful World (TV) : Producer
---> Cannot confirm, no linked source

Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE The Movie: Princess of the Birdcage Kingdom : In-Between Animation
Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations (OAV) : Key Animation (ep 1)
XXXHOLiC (TV) : In-Between Animation
XxxHOLiC: Kei (TV) : Key Animation (eps 1, 8)
---> The sources for these are either no longer valid, or do not list the proper roles. I should have digital files of these that I can check kanji for this evening or Monday.

(Cast)
Himekishi Angelica (OAV) as Angelica -> Confirmed as サトウ ユキ here

Junkers Come Here (movie) as Baby
---> Cannot confirm, サトウ ユキ is not in the credits on Jpn Wikipedia
Swallowtail Inn (OAV) as Harumi Misaki (ep 2)
---> Cannot confirm, サトウ ユキ is not in the credits on Jpn Wikipedia

I'll try to check the Tsubasa and xxxHOLiC credits as soon as I can, and if others could try to check the others I can't find sources for?

How are we up to 8 people now (plus a couple more that look to be miscredited and are elsewhere in the encyclopedia)?

These are both the Gainax producer 佐藤裕紀 (Hiroki Satō) who you've highlighted in orange, as shown on the Japanese Wikipedia entry for each series:

I've had my doubts that this is the eroge seiyuu, since this isn't an eroge-based thing and was from far before her apparent start in voice acting.

From searching around, this person looks to be noted as 佐藤由季 in a few sources. Here's one of them:
Quote:
赤ちゃん : 佐藤由季

So I guess here is yet another Yuki Satō to add to them all...

The official website of the OVA (NSFW) confirms this. Mizuho Fuyuki, who is credited in the same role in the first episode is known to be an alternate name of hers (source here and here). As an additional note, I think Nozomi Yoneshima is this seiyuu's non-ero name, due to almost all of Koihime Musou's anime cast being reprisals under different names, but haven't really found evidence of it among the eroge seiyuu databases (some blogs seem to connect them, though).

Manga UK DVD has English credits only ("Yuki Sato" for the record).

I have a Japanese copy of the fourth game, but nothing that will play it (my PS3 is broken and it is the wrong region anyway). There don't appear to be any credits in the manual. I can't even check for credits on the English discs as I flogged my PS2 shortly before my PS3 broke...
Interestingly, I can play the opening straight from the disc in MPC. There's no video file with credits unfortunately.
Had a look through the accompanying Liminality credits in case, but they aren't on there.

As for the other unconfirmed... I have DVDs for Konomimi and XXXholic but coming from ADV and FUNi they are unlikely to be terribly useful.

Oh hang on - FUNi have Sengoku Basara II eps up, but someone in the US will have to check them as I'm locked out.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1nFUSAi-P8

Double oh - the subbed episode of xxxholic on Youtube have Japanese credits. Can't see any Satous in the first episode though and I'm bushed.

I checked it and it's 佐藤由紀 in the ending credits, same as braves' source above indicates.
