Never heard of anything like this, got any links to back this up or is it just some shady rumors? |

Nope, not a shady rumor at all!
At Anime Overdose they were polling for interest in the games. There was a bound book that people could sign their name and email address if they would support a US release of the game by purchasing it. There were announcements calling attention to the sign-up at the Sakura Taisen panel and at the FUNimation industry panel. The book will be available for fans to sign at every convention they'll be attending.
