I was hoping that Season 3 of Ikki Tousen would be released by Nov, or the rest of Kanokon, but I guess I'm just being too optimistic.

The North American anime distributor Media Blasters has confirmed that it has licensed the Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei anime series in its retail solicitation list for May 2010. The first English-subtitled DVD volume will ship on May 25. The high school comedy centers around a pathologically depressed teacher who somehow finds the will to deal with a class of oddball students.

I am still waiting for Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei's DVD release. The announcement for the license was posted on ANN back in February.

In that ANNcast, didn't they say hentai titles still sell really well? Seems like they've been licensing practically nothing lately.

You fool! Don't you understand?! The liscense is a lie! They just want us to think we'll get a great show, and buy other shows from them, all while we wait in vain for a series that will never come! Ah, I'm in despair! I'm sick of this world and its corrupt anime companies! *tries to hang herself and get tackled by an illegal immgrant*

OK, that really isn't as clever as I wanted it to be... but I think I get my point across...

Sounds like a pretty meager choice pool.

Nothing I am interested in.

Seriously, what the heck happened to Media Blasters?

They were pretty good a couple of years ago...

There's more than a few unlicensed ones I wouldn't mind seeing a release of too.
