We can only hope Haruna is suddenly gone in this one. Glad to see Yabuki can stick it to that, I'm hesitant to call it a "woman".

Why? And why a spinoff? If there is still need for To Luve-Ru, why don't jsut continue it? It didn't have an ending anyway.
And I thought it was cancelled because it was unpopular... so what? |

the original was canceled do to legal troubles with the wife of Yabuki Kentaro who kinda went off the deep end. I look forward to this spin-off, To-Love-Ru was one of my favorite series while it was still running |

Well when the series was first canceled I remember seeing a translated post from the authors blog saying some of the details such as the character of Haruka being based off of his wife and she was trying to sue him for using the character. There were some wild stories I read about her trying to kidnap their kid but I never saw any real evidence besides blogs about those. I'll try to see if I can find any of them online now, but after a year I'm not sure if I'll be able to |

Well, it's hard for ecchi mangaka to make a living these days unless they're apart of an already established franchise. So I understand this...

I love To-LOVE-Ru and I was said when it ended. It was one of the few SJ titles I was reading weekly. Even if it's on a monthly release 12 chapters a year is fine with me. I just want more To-LOVE-Ru |

I'm going to meet Yabuki-sensei Sunday afternoon. Just chatted with the PR of the licensee and he told me that anyone bringing an animal head mask near the stage area would be "gently persuaded to leave, or else." He also praised Yabuki-sensei who managed to maintain his drawing schedule even when facing such terrible betrayal, yet many mangaka stop drawing for far more trivial matters e.g. a new version of Final Fantasy is released. |
