Thank goodness I'm up-to-date with my Media Blasters DVDs... All I need now is the second remastered season of Magic Knight Rayearth and I'm good. I sure hope they're able to pull it out and survive, though.

Ugh.... I really should get Moribito, shouldn't I? But ever since I found out I'm going to be getting all of Revolutionary Girl Utena next year, I've been saving my money... Any hot deals on it that won't blow my budget?
And yes, I can totally dig Tatami Galaxy. I hope you liked it. |

I looooooove seeing more positive support of GaoGaiGar.
I got those super cheap boxsets when they were coming out. Best money I ever spent on a 49 episode series. |

I think Monica Rial puts on that voice, unless she just naturally grew into it over the years. She sounded pretty normal in the live-action parts of Milk-chan.
How can an anime fan not know about Rightstuf? |

She's a real funny gal in person, Monica. There's a Youtube of her doing the chicken dance in front of a live audience.

Yeah, I just went and looked at it; the last time I'd checked they only had the $100 option, now they have the $25 dollar one. I've got the next volume of 20th Century Boys to get this week, but that'll be bumped up to my next-in-line and a few other things will have to wait (poor Berserk... will I ever catch up?). |

A warning on that particular Moribito set. You may need to replace the crappy case it comes in (8 discs stacked literally on top of each other).

This is the second time I've read / heard supposedly dire news about Media Blasters. I hope such talk does not come to fruition though, esp. with upcoming releases that I'm really looking forward to. C'mon Media Blasters, hang in there!!

On a single central axis? Blech. Well, $75 difference is probably enough for me to put up with that. I am cheap, after all. |

JohnnySake,
If you've been following release schedules, you'll see that Media Blasters has been delaying a lot of stuff, and cancelling (or placing it on "indefinite" status) other stuff. This is not a good sign. I tend to believe the rumors that MB is fading out. I sure hope they can weather these hard economic times. In other news: Erin discovers footnotes! ;P |

I'm more impressed that Erin has discovered the Power of The King of Braves, the Awesomeness of the Brightest star of the Brave Saga and the charm of this cast of characters that use courage tosave the planet!!!
King of Braves GaoGaiGar is a must in every anime fan collection |

GaoGaiGar gets better and better as the series continues, so it's definitely something everyone should check out- it's also very cheap. I got the Premium boxses [5 discs in individual cases+artbox] for about 35 each, and there's also an Economy edition out [5 discs in one case]. Fantastic, fun series. The dub is reallly good too, but the show itself is so good you won't really mind that the 2nd half isn't dubbed.
And again, it's quite cheap Get it today! |
