Considering how much he loves "Cobra" I think it's safe to say that he won't do anything to tarnish the anime's legacy. Though I have a feeling "Piranha 3D" is going to be absolute crap, I think this guy might make "Cobra" his first really good film.

Although I never read or watched "Space Adventure Cobra", this news sounds like fun and easy.

Great. Two shitty remakes from the guy. But Cobra's hypotethically easier to pull off than Bebop, so good luck, anyway.

Seriously, this. And not just the movie, but the original TV series, the new OAV's and the new series as well. It may be thirty years late, but it's Cobra's time now.

Indeed. Love to see the manga though, I think 1970s SJ stuff is simply too much for today's coddled Narukids. :p Seriously, I could see a lot of kids' heads exploding over the possibility of uncensored boobs in their SJ. Not that that would happen, of course. I'm sure the series would be HEAVILY censored, of course. Don't want kids to start thinking they could breathe underwater with cigars, right?

Never thought I'd see any mention of Piranha 3D on this site.
