It has been bothering me for some time.
We currently have: Manga Entertainment Manga Entertainment (UK) Manga Entertainment UK The latter two are obviously one and the same but the division between Manga and Manga UK is unclear. Manga in the UK is currently an office of 6 people working as a subsidiary of Anchor Bay/Starz in the US, but it was actually once the parent company which complicates things rather: animenewsnetwork.com/news/2001-07-08/manga-uk-dead (copy of the source article) animenewsnetwork.com/news/2001-07-09/jonathan-clements-expands-on-manga-uk Should UK licenses and distributions (they currently distribute for Viz Media Europe/Kaze and FUNimation) be listed under Manga Entertainment UK or should they all be lumped together under Manga Entertainment with a precision of (UK)? |

Seeing as we have ADV Films and ADV Films UK I think it's fair enough to keep the UK Office as its own entry.
