Wow, TenTen's really going to end? I wonder how it'll end. I heard that things got a little too fantastical in the story past the point where the anime ended - can anybody vouch for that?

Here's hoping for another season of Tenjou Tenge soon then, so I can have closure.

OUCH. Good job pouring even more salt into the wound left by CMX... Hopefully Viz or someone can at least do an omnibus of the last three/four/whatever volumes.

@ Joshuafer and Jaymie

Ed Chavez from Vertical mentioned on the AOD forums that another US company was interested in rescuing Tenjho Tenge. Because its from Shueisha that means its either Viz or Dark Horse, but I'm leaning towards the latter.

Wow. Only one volume of Shigurui left.

And the tournament hasn't even started yet! He's doing a whole tournament in only 1 volume? That's absurd. It's worth at the very least 2 volumes.

Volume 15 better be unusually large, like the final volme of Kilico.

I would love to see Dark Horse Comic, DMP, or maybe Del-Rey to pick Tenjo Tenge. I just finish up watching Air Gear (courtesy of Funimation) and I thought Tenjo Tenge would give me the same amount of fanservice. Is that show any good?

That made me lol for one reason or another.

About your question, I don't think it's nearly as good as Air Gear, if that helps. Just like Air Gear, the anime of TT got cancelled.

Cancelled? What are you talking about? Neither of those anime series were cancelled, they ended. And they are both fully available on DVD.

Out of those 3 publishers you listed, only Dark Horse could potentially rescue it, because aside from Viz, they're the only company that has access to Shueisha titles.

I haven't seen Air Gear, but I really enjoyed Tenjho Tenge, and yes, it does have quite alot of fanservice.

Out of curiosity, how's TT and censoring these days? I remember it making headlines for CMX censoring the s***e out of it way back. Which was when I decided not to even entertain the notion of touching them. In other words, is it available uncensored from vol 1 on? Or are they still forcing me to continue favouring... other sources?

Well, CMX is gone, so theres no more english TT, unless those rumors about another publisher rescueing it are true (refer to my first post towards the top of this thread). In the end CMX released 18 of the 21 current volumes, and while they never entirely quit censoring it, there was far less censorship starting with volume 11, which raised the rating from Teen to Teen+, and eventually (although I'n not sure at what volume) I think they raised it all the way to Mature.

Tenjou Tenge is finally ending? It feels like that manga's been going forever, I think I stopped reading somewhere around the feudal arc.

Same here. Pray to god that this series does not suffer the same fate as Tokko which was good , but wayy too incomplete on both the anime and manga sides.

Dark Horse should pick up Tenjo Tenge and release it uncensored in omnibus editions. That would be a sure buy.
