The U.K. has really stopped being America's b*tc* in terms of releasing stuff. I'm really quite proud that they're finally releasing stuff on their own (U.K. has Summer Wars AND Musashi) that are actually higher in quality than our stuff here in America. I really hope someone steps it up and releases stuff from the U.K. here.

Another thing the UK gets. Lucky people! It would be nice to actually see this since it has the cast from Death Note.
Now... What about Durarara!!.... |

In terms of live action this isn't as unusual as anime - we had the live action Mushishi and Death Note movies before the US. Unlike anime, we aren't dependant on the US for dubs etc. since live action movies are released sub-only (which is something Beez is experimenting with for anime with Durarara!) The main reason I never watched Kaiji was the character designs, which wouldn't be a problem for this film obviously, but I still don't think I'll be rushing out to get it. |

I should hope that this podcast sufficed to demonstrate the falsity of these claims. |
