How many Capcoms does it take to screw in a light bulb? None, because they'd cancel it halfway through. If they did, they would force the people to pay for it to actually light up the room.
Now that we got the obligatory "Capcom Betrayed Me" joke out of the way, this shows promise. They may have a chance at redemption.

CAPCOM of America & Europe are releasing this. Y'know, the only parts of Capcom that still CARE about Mega Man?
Crap-com of Japan are still a**holes.

Of course Capcom of Japan doesn't care about Megaman, they care about Rockman. >_>
Also wut, did you see those terrible dubs the American versions of the games got? Or how butchered and hacked up the Rockman.EXE and Ryuusei no Rockman anime were? Capcom of Japan put way more effort into those than the American companies did -_-;

This is but a white flag. Until I see some real commitment from getting out of their Ace-hole phase, and by that I mean a English Release of EX Troopers, the war is not won.

Too little, too late. I don't buy Capcom anymore after the Megaman Legends 3 fiasco. No way, no how, no nothing. To treat not only fans, but developers, IPs and creators in such a fashion is not the kind of business I will put either money or time towards, even if it's free.

Why are people still acting butthurt over the cancellation of Mega Man Legends 3? It's done people! Time to move on! Boycotting CAPCOM isn't going to change this.

Thank you, I get tired of people complaining about ML3. Yes I was one of the people that did want for it to come out, same with Megaman Universe, but a cancelled game is nothing you can do about it and got over it ages ago. Capcom has amazing Street Fighter games, so I could never boycott the company.
Back on Topic, I can't wait for this game, I know it is a fan game, but still I love just about any Rockman/Megaman game.

Totally downloading this. I'm honestly sick of 8 bit revisits, but this looks like it was done really well.
By the way If anyone's to blame for the ML3 cancellation, it's Nintendo. In case you haven't noticed, the 3DS is doing terrible (outside of Japan). Capcom probably didn't see any benefit in dumping more money into a game only a few people would buy.

Didn't they say it wasn't even officially announced and they made the mistake of revealing it before they knew it would even go anywhere?

EXE's dub was worse than the games some how. They didn't even follow their own American game names. It's like they didn't even care or something.
I always do laugh when people say Capcom doesn't care about Rockman. I guess 8+ anime while other video game franchises get none means nothing to them. Considering all that franchise got in terms of sequels, anime, and products, their fans are pretty spoiled compared to other franchises.

I would like to have the game on the PSN and Xbox live as well. I don't mind paying $5 to own it.

I'm happy for this, gimme more Megaman anyday!
I just can't believe we still havn't gotten a better 3D world Megaman game, and I'm not talking Legends, I'm talking a Megaman 11 game. Hell, I'd be happy with a new X game, or Zero game, not done "old school" but done to take advantage of today's consoles.
Ah we can dream......
