I got to see this last Sunday. A really fun, energetic short. There are 7 that have been made for the Ghibli Museum, and I would rank this as the 3rd best.

Is there any DVD with original language with English subtitles collecting these shorts?

According to Ghibli museum, Chu Zumo to be screened until March 31.
http://www.ghibli-museum.jp/welcome/cinema/ Miyazaki mentioned that there is a plan if 12 short films are completed these may be released with DVD. But he says I came to think that it is rich to have the thing which are not sold. http://animeanime.jp/report/archives/2009/10/post_172.html |

So aside from going to Japan, we've got to wait until they've done 12 of them? Does anybody know how long it'll be until that happens?

Thanks for the info toru!
We'll have to wait some more years, but it'll be worth it. |

I'm not a dedicated fan of Miyazaki, but just yesterday someone shared me of a music video he produced called On Your Mark made in 1995.
Simply beautiful. I wish he did these kind of shorts more often. So much can done in such amount of time, which he showed here. I've seen several films of his and they just didn't grab me as strong as this did. |
