I've been enjoying 11Eyes - pretty solid entertainment, I think. I haven't been aware of much chatter about it, so I guess it's not setting the anime world on fire from what I can see. Looking forward to the OVA.

Yes, this series has 11eyes as 3x3 = 9, so it's 2 eyes better. :3

I guess this "forbidden" OVA will be just plain fan-service since it will only feature the heroines..

It's hard to believe that I had to put up with that annoying Yuka to get a blunt ending like this. Noein much? Other than the ending song nothing really stood out in this anime. They tried to go in many directions, but failed at most of them; including: Moe, childhood friend, love triangle, dimensions, monsters and everything else. Creativity was about non-existent; the ending came out of a text book.
Then there's the girl trying to put a razor blade inside her rival's cup of tea. A razor blade for Christ's sake!

And then there's the OVA. Hopefully we at least get some fanservice out of this, since the character design was the only credible aspect of the show.

But now one must ponder whether or not more is better. Maybe 9 eyes is the most effective number of eyes as where two more would mess things up? Questions, questions...

It's pretty much implied in the announcement that this is going to be a fanservice/softcore OVA. It talks about the main girls doing "this and that".
