Kung Fu Hustle isnt from Jackie Chan but rather from Stephen Chow.

How hard is it to check IMDB and see who's in the movie? Really?

Mistakes like that are embarassing and hard to excuse.

damn....you dishoner the king of comedy, my second favorite hk actor. Razz

Yeah it has nothing to do with anime, but when stephen chow movie is release in asia these days, it's a big news. Like a Final fantasy Release.

New Police Story apparently has Jackie Chan busting out some good fight scenes, better than the stuff he's done in the past few anyway, showing he can still move pretty fast.

v1cious: Stephen Chow's a fan of Captain Tsubasa. Now the anime connection is complete.

I love Shaolin Soccer. I need to do more research and find some other Stephon Chow titles. Oh, and I've heard mixed reviews about New Police Story. Some say the dark atmostphere is a nice change of pace, others say he overacts a little.

Kung Fu Hustle was very funny. Steven Chow is very popular here in Taiwan. I even liked better when I saw the trailer.

I'm glad that Miyazaki's film is popular in Korea. It shows that Koreans are opening up to Japanese Pop Culture.

Lets just hope it does well in the US. (takes out Bokken. You heard me Mike).

"from beijing with love"

I was just about to say that film.

There are so many funny parts of Kung Fu Hustle. I'll say it later. I had to explain was Hustle means to my taiwanese co-workers. No its not the dance.

That's a great one. I really love King of Comedy (which I just watched about four hours ago... strange...) and God of Cookery as well. I just can't pick! All of Stephen Chow's movies are incredibly funny; it's hard to pick a best. Did anyone else catch the brief Jackie Chan cameo in King of Comedy?

It'd be complete if he were actually mentioning or incorperating Captain Tsubasa into said topic, which he isn't. So the Anime connection is NOT complete. This is not one of your threads, Gatsu.

God of Cookery was best yet, as was Flirting Scholor
didn't understand King of Comedy though.

His movies have alot of Anime-ish actions in them, like the judge's response in God of Cookery. with the shiny background. and i think SHoalin soccer was turned into or came from a Manga
