Color me happy! I'm not surprised, since the DVDs have been selling 13k+ copies each and the character singles have been reaching the top 5 on Oricon.

Booyah!
...Though I'd imagine Atsushi Kousaka was better known for his role as Prussia than Estonia.

Well, he's also the VA for Greece and Prussia so... I mean, they're not too major either but Prussia's incredibly popular so that probably has something to do with it.
Putting that aside, I'm incredibly happy about this! I really hope they do the War of Austrian Succession strips. I've been hoping those would be animated since the beginning.

Fantabulous. As long as they keep making this, I can still say I watch at least some current anime.

THIS.
There`s something almost criminal about restricting what everyone has accepted as the MAIN female character to the Chibitalia segments. How the hell are the people who only watch the anime supposed to know how badass she is?
The new season better be overflowing with Poland and Sweden to make up for lost time.
I guess this will coincide with the release of volume 3.

Woohoo! I love this series, and I was beginning to dread its end-I'm so glad it's not going to!

...there is, actually, and heaps of it. Some characters haven't even appeared in the anime yet (such as Seychelles, even though she's only appeared in two official strips), others have had very limited appearances (such as Greece - there's WAY more strips about him than him just introducing the Olympics to France...including all those ones about him and Japan that haven't been animated yet), Sweden has been entirely neglected by the anime so far except for his split second cameo in the first episode and there's a decent number of strips about him, and Poland has only just got to be in episode 47, but it wasnt a very big part, and again, there are a lot of strips about him too. Not to mention Hungary, who hasn't been shown at all in a modern setting in the anime. There's also Prussia, the other nordics...I could go on for a while.
Then of course there's volume 3 of the printed manga that comes out next year. Both volumes 1 and 2 have had a -lot- of exclusive content (almost 50% of the strips are not found in the webcomics, or are at least redrawn versions of them), so there'll be plenty of new material in #3...
tl;dr: There is plenty of manga to adapt still.
