Another Nanoha film we probably won't ever get to see here...I bet the DVD/BD release will have English subs too.

Our best bet at this point in time is Sentai pulls a Hell Girl and releases the third season and the movies in FUNi's stead.

Regardless of American release probability, this is awesome beyond awesome news. A's in cinematic quality is going to blow minds.

I figured this day was coming, since the movie's title was "Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha The Movie 1st." Kinda implies there'll be a second.

As far as I'm concerned, a Japanese release with English subtitles is just as good as an R1 release.

Because I exclusively buy "Anime with an English translation," not exclusively "R1 anime" (that is, assuming the translation is actually good and not Engrishy).

HELL YEAH!!!!! Who cares about an R1 release? The Japanese BD has English subs!!!!! I preordered it... and I don't even OWN a Bluray player. I'm gonna watch it at my friend's place.

That's another problem as Sentai doesn't license any anime movies anymore (not counting Appleseed & Grave Of The Fireflies since those are rescues). They could get StrikerS if they wanted to though.

This was inevitable. Though I find condensed film versions of series to be totally pointless most of time.

I rarely buy DVDs (anime or otherwise), since I rarely rewatch series, but StrikerS might be an exception.
