I first got word of this when I saw a poster for it online. All 3 EVA pilots were adults, and Rei looked creepily like Yui Ikari. Me and my girlfriend at first dismissed as mere rumors, but I saw the OST for The Reprise of Evangelion at my local Suncoast.
Is this movie for real, or is it an idea that never got off the ground? |

The soundtrack you saw was a collection for the best music in the series. The poster is a well-known wish that will probably never come true.

The cd you saw is actually "Refrain of Evangelion" not reprise, and yes it's a best-of cd. The poster you are referring to is actually fan art and, as had been said, wishful thinking.

Awww. And my hopes got so high, too. I'm an EVA freak in every sense of the word. Oh well, can't have everything, I guess.
