There is this Japanese song that became an anime closing theme. The anime was dubbed song included. For years I've been thinking about doing an altered cover. That's where the problems start.
Who get's credited for lyricist? The original lyricist even though the song lyrics were totaly changed by someone else. Usually in situations like this, I could leave those things blank and the label would take care of it. Even if the original song name is put, and Lyricist and publisher. I still feel there are things that could turn out problematic. this non Japanese version was not realesed as a song. So do I contact the People behind the altered version for advice. I find that difficult to arrange. |
